Ramadan 2021 / 1142AH - Juz 10 - Tests 📝
“Do you think that you will be left untested without God identifying which of you would strive for His cause and take no supporters apart from God, His Messenger, and other believers?” 9:16
Allah tells us in the Qur’an that he will test us in our lives. This isn’t intended as punishment or retribution but rather, as it is called, a test. Something to overcome, to see how we fare, to give us a chance to push ourselves and grow. For Allah to test how we react, do we lose hope and despair or do we turn to Allah with patience and ask him for help?
It can often be hard to see in the moment how testing situations are beneficial for us, but with the right mindset we can really help ourselves to always see a silver-lining. "What’s the benefit in this", "This may seem bad but are there some aspects of it that are beneficial", "Is this a growth opportunity?".
We’ve made it through all of our bad days in the past. It won’t always be fun, but all we can do is endure with patience, and we know that just as hard times come, so do they go.
