Ramadan 2021/1442AH - Juz 30 - Rizq
"For those who were aware of God there is supreme fulfilment" —78:31
Some theologians posited that in addition to being physical places, heaven and hell are also metaphors for spiritual and emotional states of wellbeing that we attain in this life.
By chasing lower desires we drag ourselves down into a life of vice, where we are constantly chasing and never satisfied. Every day becomes an ongoing unfulfilling cycle of chasing and looking forward to the next thing.
By accepting divine love into our lives, following his commands and living a life in accordance with our divine purpose, a life in accordance with the sunnah that resonates with our fitrah we follow the guidance of Allah and live our best lives. Living in a way that resonates with our souls and brings us deep inner peace.
Many people will have tasted this throughout Ramadan and as a community we make an effort to all be better and encourage each other to be better too. Let’s keep this going after Ramadan and continue to live be our best selves, living our best lives and enjoining good onto others.
